• BLINDED VIDEO UP FOR VOTE IN NATIONAL
Tuesday, January 23, 2007

Not Alone's BLINDED video is in the running in the national MUSIC NATION contest with top prize being an Epic Records recording contract and more.

The MUSIC NATION website (www.musicnation.com) features videos of independent artists stretching several genres from across the U.S. and is sponsored and promoted by Clear Channel among others. Lehigh Valley rock station WZZO is one of the participating stations who are heavily promoting the contest and encouraging regional listeners to go to the website and vote for local bands like Not Alone.

Voting began January 29th, 2007 with each round lasting one week. Judging in the Rock category provided by Brothers Joel and Benji Madden from multi-platinum recording artists Good Charlotte are joined by producer Howard Benson, who has worked with acts such as The All-American Rejects, Hoobastank, Papa Roach and My Chemical Romance, and is currently a 2007 Grammy nominee for Producer Of The Year.

These judges know what they're doing. Each week, they'll be bringing their picks and comments and choosing who moves on to the next round.

The competition lasts 15 weeks. Voting starts January 29, 2007. For each of the next 12 weeks, two new quarterfinalists in each genre will be chosen, one picked by the fans and the other, by our panel of expert judges. That makes a total of 24 quarterfinalists in each genre. After those 12 weeks, those three lists of 24 will be trimmed down into three groups of semifinalists. From there, its on to the finals. In our last week, one winner will be crowned in each of our three genres. Those winners will be awarded global recording contracts with Epic Records. One of the three winners will appear on Clear Channels exclusive in-studio performance series, STRIPPED.
